Need some help, is there any psychiatric long term rehabilitation or place where they keep the mentally unstable ones for a longer period of time? Say 1 or 2 years? The individual in concern won't take the medicines by himself, is violent at times, utters bad words, and is clearly in need of treatment, also has other medical concers like diabetes and blood pressure, for which also they are not taking medicine.the family is living in constant terror of being locked out of home one night and being beaten the next.doesnot take medicines at all.. Family wants to put the person in some type of structured care where there will be medicines available and some type of routine care.is there any place in nepal besides patan hospital ...where the care is horrible for such a care? Anybody knows a situation like this? The individual in concern is old ..and has been a psychiatric patient lifelong.i am seeking information for my friends family. Thanks.
