His facebook is weird.  Reminds me of Raj Kumar "forever alone" posting Ads for marriage proposals all over.  Very weird.

This guy is either very naive or the Mr. timilsina himself. I have a friend whose wife is here but he is in Nepal and doesn't want to apply again because he has wasted so much money in previous application. Why don't you give me say about $2000 and I will wire it to him so that he can afford one or two more applications? What? You don't want to give money? When will this leg pulling mentality end? When will we start helping each other?

No I am not mister timilsina but I respect him at least he has some balls and is trying to help other people even though he is suffering or he can just solve his case or get done with it. You know why Nepal does not have constitution yet, because instead of helping each other we fight and take the topic somewhere else, the issue here is helping one Nepali but we also fight on this. The answer to the question “Here they are thousands of people like him none of them cry but only he has to' the answer is straight because of Ashole's like you they will make  an issue of everything instead of helping each other. that’s why they don’t want to come out. They know that instead of being united and help your own people you will give some humiliating answer; or show greed of money or somehow you have to be the winner by pulling leg no matter what. Bitter bro, your heart is in the right place, good for you. I think most of us who are criticizing the posts are not against Mr Timilsina. It's against the posters who think it is out divine duty to agree and sign each and every petition started by a fellow Nepali. If you don't sign you become an asshole, you have leg pulling mentality etc etc. Requesting is one thing, starting to curse if you didn't get the help you asked for is another. Btw, I already signed the petition, not because I think it is important but just because it was an easy step.

Even though I signed the petition, had I seen his second facebook update, I would not have signed it. DV intervew is scheduled when the visa is available. It is sureshot visa if all the documents are valid and you appear for interview.  Since his wife's DV is denied, there was some fraudulent document that was presented in previous attempts, which is intolerable. That means, even if he gets US citizenship, she is not going to get any visa to come to US unless she has RED PASSPORT. Good luck.

Don't worry, this petition is not going to yield anything anyway. First of all it is hard to get to the minimum quota of 10,000 signatures (only 2% obtained so far). Even if it does get 10K, it doesn't make the process automatic and Immigration is going to use same criteria as it used earlier to check for eligibility. Just because a guy is missing his wife doesn't make him eligible to get a visa. That also doesn't mean the immigration system is broke; if he wants to meet his wife he can easily go back home. I have seen better cases denied.

I have heard that nowadays 100,000 signatures are required for a petition to be taken into consideration. So forget about petitions.
