I just wanted to give you all a heads-up before you plan on travelling to Nepal by Turkish Airlines. I just came from Nepal by TA spending more than 70 hours in airport/planes as a result of delays/cancelled flights. Although those delays and cancellation were not coded on the passenger's itinerary, they were implicitly a part of TA's regular flight schedule. This was by far the most excruciating journey and the most humiliating travel experience ever as a Nepali citizen. I had similar experience in Qatar airport, but the Qatar airlines made every possible efforts to help me out. This time with TA, we were more than 80 passengers were not even entitled for transit visa/hotel. We had to literally wander from place to place for food vouchers(regretted later for doing so) and  had to cramp in a lounge room with more 20 people. Those authorities at the airport do not understand English at all, hence became even difficult accessing information. One of the officers even gave me denigrating remarks as I handed him my Nepali passport for transit visa. I hope Nepali authority would do something for the sake of thousands of Nepalese travelling through this route.
