Do you realize what you are asking for OR do you understand the meaning of sponsorship? When you legally agree to sponsor some you also legally agree to bear the expenses incurred that could result under unforseen circumstances, like the person you sponsor were to get sick or sth for a certain period of time. And with immigration, they will probably want to see the connection between the person being sponsored and the sponsor. Hopefully sajha does not come under immigration spotlight with posts like these popping up every once in a while.

In complete dismay that one can ask for sponsership in public like this. Not judging the person who is asking for it as they may have their own world problems which nobody can assume except themselves but what they are asking can end up in scary note. Sponsering someone in the US is not as simple as ppl thinks. Just like Aquarian said incase of emergencies and other critical cases the sponser is held liable. It's not just a matter of money while immigration can invalidate the sponser as well for any ill activities. Sorry but @halandas things r not that easy about immigration a third party here. I am sure no one will be able to help u on this factor or if someone wants to do it for the sake of money might lose their sleep. I hope u find diff way to bring ur love ones.

This is insane....and he's giving out his number in public. No one should ever ask for these kind of help. You shouldn't even ask your friends when it comes to sponsoring. It looks simple when you ask "can you just sponsor me ?" but it's not as simple as you think when you look into details.

So if i agree to sposor your wife and the immigration officer asks me why i am sponsoring somebody's wife, should my anwer be, "i don't know, may be i hope she is , i like other's wives"??
