Guys here is my situation: My company just filed my GC PERM under EB-2 for "Systems Analyst" position with minimum requirement of MS in Computer Science. When i looked at the "ETA Form 9089" that was filed, I saw there was mismatch in Job title that was used for Job Posting, Recruitment process (i.e. “Systems Analyst”) with the Job title in Prevailing Wage Determination (i.e. “Software Developers, Application”). In Prevailing Wage Determination Section, it says: Occupation Title is "Software Developers, Application", and SOC/O*Net (OES) code is "15-1132". but in Job opportunity section, it says: Job Title is "Systems Analyst". All the Job Ad Posting and recruitment process were done with the job title as "Systems Analyst". Including the Ad in State Job Order, where it states: Occupational code: "15112100 Computer Systems Analysts" and Job Title: "Systems Analyst" So when i talked to lawyer, he said this is not a problem, as job title can be different. In Prevailing Wage Determination, he requested for "Systems Analyst" position, i.e. Job Title as "Systems Analyst", SOC (ONET/OES) code as 15-1121 and SOC (ONET/OES) occupation title as Computer Systems Analyst. But the Department of Labor responded the Prevailing Wage Determination request with following Job Title: SOC (ONET/OES) code: 15-1132 SOC (ONET/OES) occupation title: Software Developer, Application So I'm bit worried whether lawyer made a mistake which could lead to PERM Denial. Coz “Systems Analyst” and “Software Developer” are totally different including their code. Does anyone have any idea regarding this?? Thanks Last edited: 29-Jan-15 12:39 PM

I am not sure about the title mismatch for PERM, but the minimum requirement you have mentioned (just MS in Computer Science) is making me little nervous.Were there any year(s) of experience required on your min requirement? Last edited: 29-Jan-15 04:10 PM

I heard there is a high chances of getting into audit if minimum requirement is not that strong. I believe your min req is more than what you have mentioned above.... like year(s) of experience, etc.

Reason for optional experience is that i did my Graduation while working as Programmer in this same company. So for EB2 eligibility, lawyer had changed the Job Position to "Systems Analyst" and was told that i cannot use the work experience that i gained after my graduation from same company.

It means if you had master degree before joining the company you would be eligible to file under EB2 as "Programmer" and also be eligible to use the whole experience you had gained on that company!! Right??
