Dems should take this deal and work towards permanent solution later or they will look bad. It’s lot better than 25 billion but it still doesn’t mean anything for DACA but means a lot for TPS expiring countries like Nepal.

DACA recipients still have another 9 months before renewal is due. Courts have heavily sided with the DACA recipients already. Democrats know this, and is the reason why they already announced no deal. Trump cant shut down the government for that long. Hopefully some permanent path opens for DACA recipients rather than the 3 year offer.

What is permanent solution of TPS means? Isn’t TPS means temporary till, situation gets better in their home country. If they start treating TPS as permanent thing, they will have think hard before granting TPS future. Hope for the sake of few , they will not kill this tool for all future needs when other worst crises hits other country.

Actually they should have taken TPS as permanent long time ago. But inaction of congress to work on comprehensive immigration is the reason they keep kicking cane down the road thinking they will agree to legalize not only DACA & TPS but also 11-15 millions that are illegals in this country. Then came Trump, he started not only promise to deport all illegals aliens but also reduce legal immigration to half (thanks to Stephen Miller hate) . So temporary is temporary until the permanent kicks in . This country needs legal or illegal immigrants to do the dirty works . So why not sign the comprehensive immigration reform. But Donald Duck is trapped in his own Wall trap along with Russia thing that he is not able to comprehend anything in details, not smart to expand his base and that’s why you keep hearing same mantra... wall, angel moms, Kate now Ronil Singh etc and never said anything that KKK and other white supremacists terrorism in this country. He could really be Ronald Reagan if he choose to but he is 70+ old racist man. I don’t blame him. ;)
