hi sajha users i am in F1 and doing a degree (self financing).i have been accepted by a different college for a different program for upcoming session (along with GA).can i maintain status if i withdraw from current college and wait till next session? the reason is, i do not want to spend my fortune in the program i am no longer interested in. this situation occurred due to a delayed decision made by the new college and the int’l advisors of either college are reluctant to put their inputs in a matter of maintaining visa status.hence i would request for your inputs based on your experience, knowledge and understanding. would appreciate genuine suggestions. thank you in advance kuber

well, as far as i know, you have to be enrolled in college to maintain the status. But why don't you join community college and take some classes there? They're usually cheap ..!

thanks for the input have tried with that option too. unfortunately the deadlines for admission in most of them have elapsed.
