Hi My spouse are going to chage visa ( Post doctor degree), at this time If I change my visa, what kinds of visa I can get? Does anybody has any same kinds of experince? or what is the most improtant things we can get. Just only , when I change visa , I can pay resident tution only . or what others? Now both are F-1 visa and going to same school too. Or my wife doing postdoctoral degree and me going to business college. your help will be apprciate .

My understanding is now both of you are in F1 status, and one of you would like to change your status, right? If then, either of you will be here as a dependent to F1 ie F2. If not, both of you will be in F1 only, and need to go to school. Regards.

from my understanding... They got married here in US when they were in F1 status. Currently, both of them are paying instate resident tuition fee. I think the question is...who will be dependent if one changes his/her status and what will be a good way to do it? I guess....:) ...jai Nepal....
