Friends, I need your sincere suggestion. I am in H4 studying in ABC community college, can I change my status to F1 anytime? I have a good opportunity in college for part time job. Do anyone have this experience before? I read couple of online blogs some people saying its possible only in beggining of semester and takes almost 6 month to change the status. Could anyone suggest me?

Yes u can 1)Get I-20 from any college 2)apply for change of status filling i539 http://www.uscis.gov/portal/si... u can do that online or paper based and mail supporting docs to USCIS.
