These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of sajha.com and its services, operated by Sajha Community ("Sajha", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must give accurate information, keep your password private, and be responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms.
Sajha is a community platform for discussions, classifieds, events, service providers, requests and quotes, and messaging. We are not a party to any transaction or agreement between members, vendors, sellers, buyers, organizers or landlords, and we do not guarantee any listing, vendor, quote or member. Deal with others at your own judgment and take normal precautions.
Some features, such as certain classified listings and featured placement, have a fee shown before you pay. Payments are processed by PayPal.
Program. Sajha Community offers optional text-message (SMS) alerts to members who sign up. Alerts are transactional only: a text when a vendor sends a quote on your service request or event; a text to vendors when a new request or event matches their service category and region (at most 3 a day); and a one-time verification code. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Messages are in English and the program is for US mobile numbers only.
How you opt in. Sign in, open Text Message Alerts, enter your US mobile number, choose the alerts you want, and tick the consent box that reads: "I agree to receive text messages from Sajha Community about quotes on my requests and new requests that match my services. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy." We then text a 6-digit code to that number, which you enter on the website to confirm it is yours. You are subscribed only after that.
Message frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your activity on the site. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Sajha does not charge for text alerts. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything or of using Sajha.
Stop and help. Reply STOP to any text to cancel; you will receive one confirmation and no more texts. You can also turn alerts off in Text Message Alerts on the site. Reply START to resume after stopping. Reply HELP for help, or email admin@sajha.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Sajha is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from dealings between members or with vendors, or from content posted by others. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
