Hey guys just want to create one thread and will update only in this thread rather than creating multiple threads. Please post your ideas also.. Let's share some ideas. Thanks. Here's mine for now:

New Trade***** ALERT:::*****
(1) Bought VTUS (small risky position)... VTUS will be releasing data of its phase 3 clinical trial in few weeks (but could come anytime--risky).

This is a risky trade holding through this kind of binary event is very risky. If phase 3 data is good my target is $5-$6
If phase 3 data fails this will plunge to $1 range....I am expecting positive data based on their previous study but you never know. Also, Shabby management bought some shares of VTUS today...All the signs pointing this will have a positive data. I am only risking some money. But i wouldn't suggest anyone who's not willing to risk -50% of money if p3 data fails.

(2) *** Bought some INS*** profitable company i believe will see some upward momentum if traders catch it...... Small position... If i see some pop i will be out though..Not holding too long..This is a low float so don't chase.

(3) I still hold *** ISR ** from my entry of $0.52 yesterday.. Might sell if i get few % gain tomorrow. I am still at profit though.

So far this month i have flipped AMBS penny stock 2 times
(a) $0.052 to $0.072                      +38% gain
(b) $0.0649 to $0.0735 (today)    + 13%

CBMX flipped it from entry of $2.23 out at $3 range     +35%

will update more later:

I-485 thanks for the disclaimer.
I think the stock market is about to pop 20-30% soon. Maybe it will rally until Jun until the Fed raises the interest rate or another Tsunami happens. I believe it's a very risky time to initiate a position on any stock, but you can hold for now. If you are a short seller, you can always ride the market waves no matter how much the turbulence is.
I will be watching your GIMD stock above. I haven't had success on stocks that trade below 500K volume but that's just me.
My Disclaimer: I have lost money on stocks and I have gained some. I like to take risks in life and that's why I invest. :)

Dear enthusiasts,

what are the top 5 or 10 criteria do you use in your screener to pick the stocks?

Much appreciated.

Thanks,

Guys,
What are your thoughts on GILD. It lost more than 20% last week. Although I think it's a market overrection and I do see a strong buy rating on the stock from multiple analysts, do you think it will enjoy steller growth in 2015 like it had in 2014? My thought is that it will recover from the fallout, but might see resistance at around $110 and $115.
And what about TSLA? Is it a hype or a reality? After looking at one up close, I'm sold on Musk's vision. I didn't even realize it could seat 7 on model S. Freak... that car is something.

GILD  had some success with Hepatitis C drugs/vaccines. But I couldn't tell ya how it might perform in the short-term. But I am curious to get some ideas on what criteria you use to select a stock to trade or invest in.

All the best.

I can't really say what specifically I use at any given time/trade. It depends on the market and my objectives. It's very broad to just list it out like that.
But I primarily look at PE, Growth potential, Momentum, Dividend yield, peer comparison etc.
I also tend to look into any insider trading, any lawsuits against the company and consumer experience.
I do both long and short. For short it's just about the news and momentum. For long it's the company's vision and potential and dividend is certainly a plus for long term.
I normally don't buy any stocks while it's going down. I like the dust to settle and look for an upward trend.
And I'm sure you know all these things as well. This is information that you can probably find anywhere on the internet. It's how you combine all this information to make a meaningful decision is what matters IMO.

guys, my suggestion is learn technical analysis, watch broader market movement, sector rotations, create technical buy-points for stocks and let the price hit yr order instead of buying at market price. Read books and make a system of buying and selling and stick to that. if u put couple of years of time , u guys can do it for sure. Good Luck

I've been into IPOs this year. Its easy money, if there's enough hype, the stock rallies to 50% above IPO price no problem these days.

Made 50% so far on VA, 20% in BABA, 30% on LC. There are some heavy weight IPOs coming in 2015 like Uber, Snapchat, Vice, Airbnb. Just get these on IPO day and relax.

Fountaindew,

Great points there in your last posting!

GILD is a market leader in Hep C drugs and is undervalued compared to its peer is what I read this morning in an article. It further adds that it is extremely attractive at the current level.

TSLA car models are too expensive compared to status symbol cars such as BMW, Mercedez, or Lexus. It has yet to make a broader market penetration. When that happens, the price should come down significantly. Prolonged cheaper gas could also work against TSLA. However when the company comes out with 35k car in 2017, it should garner a lot of interest. Scandinavian countries don't seem to get enough of TSLA cars already.

All in all, TSLA and GILD seem to be in a sweet spot in terms of a long term view.

Regarding not buying when the price goes down and waiting till the dust settles, opportunists are not going to wait around for the dust to settle if one of these stalwarts like GOOGL, MMM, or, PG drops like 10-20% in a day. For the majority others, your take makes good sense.

Disclaimer : I don't hold a position in any of the aforementioned stocks.

I485,
stop manipulating soja nepali haru ..

GLMD was around $15 a year back
then it dropped as low as $3
now it has reached to $8.60
AND you are hyping since long back and manipulating and luring all the Soja Nepalese
towards GLMD with this sort of statement
'GLMD has hit over $6.50 twice since i posted here, which was my short term target.'

guys having a target to be a millionaire is good but
dreaming to be a millionaire using shortcut track ain't good
cau'z
one in millions becomes millionaire by gambling methodology
and there is only one buffet out of millions and billions..

so don't be manipulated and scammed by random jerk..

sojoketa,
I am not here to Manipulate.. I am just posting my trade ideas and what works for me. This is not a recommendation to buy/or sell any stocks based on my postings..

I posted about GLMD at $5.70 not when it was ($15)... on DECMBER 22, 2014... only fools like you'd have bought at $15... check the facts before you open your mouth.

so i posted my trade idea at $5.70 and now stock is at $8.60..... how's that bad ?

Entry comments on DEC 22, 2014
"I like GLMD here for long position and i have initiated a position at $5.70 on this one. I like the chart and one of their clinical trial (NASH/Liver disease) is suppose to start this quarter. This should do well into Q1 2015. My short term target is $6.50-$7 .... This is a low floater and very thinly traded, so keep that in mind. so High risk !"...

I485
'I posted about GLMD at $5.70 not when it was ($15)... on DECMBER 22, 2014... only fools like you'd have bought at $15... '
so you too agree that one would be fool to spend money on GLMD no matter it is $15 like 1 year back or $8.50 as now
actually sojoketo ain't the fool , sojoketo is pretty smart.

I485,
you started this thread on 1/7/14 4:23 pm,
that exactly the time when price of GLMD started decreasing dramatically

i already got it why you started this thread out of a blue.
'Even a single trading in penny stock does matter'
I485, You are pretty smart but oops!! not smarter than sojoketo.

sojho keto ho ki murkha keto ho... .. Nepali ko khutta tanne prabirti.... afu pani nakhane arulai pani khana nadine mora haru...

He started thread last year so what does it has to do with GLMD.. He never talked about that time. He thought it's a good entry at $5.70 and he felt the price should go up from his entry of $5.70 and it did , in fact climbed +$3 in less than 2 weeks.... I think that was amazing gains.

Let him do what he's doing. He just posted his idea and whats wrong with you sojhoketa ?

come on..

Racheeta Nani,
I485 लाई भन्यो भनेर चित्त दुख्यो कि क्या हो?
ल है साथी हो, Racheeta Nani र I485 ko दह्रो परेको जस्तो छ. :)

Racheeta Nani you don't wanna mess up with sojo keto whilst you're living in detoit.
Feri I75, I96 or I94 ma kurera basna naparos,
Mind it, these interstate covers southfield, dearborn and downtown detroit :)
anyways, no need to fear as now I live in stockton CA,
but couple of years back I was living in Gratiot Ave/ Rosemary, google it if you wanna know more about द place. निग्गा संग दरो हिमचिम थियो नि
So literally Sojoketo is into black.

Anyways, coming to the point, though i believe in gender equality #HeForShe,
but kt haruko dimag le bhayudaina kya 7th level of consciousness ka kura haru.. lol..
Here the statement is based on my presumption that Racheeta is Nani not Babu.
कुरो गहकिलो छ, let me flip my statements
Exactly the time when price of GLMD started decreasing dramatically
at the same time(1/7/14 4:23 pm) I485 started the thread,
there is a CONSIPIRACY THEORY going on.
Khai racheeta nani jasta le k bujlan.

BTW, for your statement,
"sojho keto ho ki murkha keto ho... .. Nepali ko khutta tanne prabirti.... afu pani nakhane arulai pani khana nadine mora haru."
-my name itself is explanatory, it means sojo keto not murkha keto  and sojoketo!= murkha keto
-I ain't care either I485 makes money or loose it.
aba yesma yo statement कसोरी उपयुक्त हुन्छ, दैब जानुन
'Nepali ko khutta tanne prabirti.... afu pani nakhane arulai pani khana nadine mora haru.",

I am just trying to make other soja nepaliharu like sojoketo aware not to be manipulated by any statement like
'GLMD has hit over $6.50 twice since i posted here, which was my short term target.'
OR
"in fact GLMD climbed +$3 in less than 2 weeks.... I think that was amazing gains."

There is infighting in every thread. Damn Charlie Hebdo!

Anyway....

Dear esteemed trader/investor,
what sign does one need to look for to ensure that the trend of declining oil-prices has reversed?

That will be one of the keys to making serious money in the equities market this year or later.
