Hello all,

I have around 14 hour of lay over in abu dhabi airport and wondering about need of any visa. I am not planning to got outside of airport and will stay in the terminal. does any one have similar experience recently ? do you have long transit and do you guys needed visa ? can you please share.

I called the airline but didn't get any helpful info. Called three time and got different answers. Two agent told me I do need a visa but one told me I don't need a visa. Now not sure whom to believe. Airline website also doesn't mention any thing on this.

If you happen to have a recent transit in abu dhabi , can you please share?

Thank you all.

I had 11 hrs transit last july, and 16 hrs 2 years back and I never even thought about getting visa. You dont need visa if you do not cross immigration. you cant actually cross it without visa, so even if you want to stay there, they wont keep you lol. Dont worry, there wont be any issue .
