Hi everybody;

I was just wondering if the Association of Nepalese in the Americas (ANA) helped the family of deceased students here in the US few weeks back. Everyone, knows, i suppose, that ANA a non- profit organization makes hundereds of thousands of dollars from the event and they should have no problem helping the family of those demised studetns in the accidents. As far as I know, I havent heard or read anything about them being helped, if anybody knows, please let me know, otherwise, my concern here is that such money generated annually by ANA should be for the Nepalese here as well back home in need. I am a student myself and am curious about whats going on or the actions that any Nepalese organizations took on this matter.

I know ANA as a big Nepalese party organizer and nothing more.

ANA helps people soothe their sore eyes. It is like Visine.

Okay, Cyrus. How did you know ANA makes hundreds of thousands of dollars? Their financial statement is public, go check it out before you post stupid comments.

Did you know the only place ANA makes profit during the ANA convention is via registration and cultural show/concert ticket sales? That is not even close to 5K after equipment rentals and stuff. The hotel gets all the money for room, board and alcohols.

Why do people create such organization? They have one mission and we hear them doing opposite.
