Why is that when eyes meet, heart starts beating faster...is there a connection????

i am chemistry major so i can answer urs question chemically. when eyes meet ,heart starts beating faster because ......, just a second loote kuukur, is this the eyes of male or female u r meeting with? since there are different chemicals in male and female.so give me details about what kind of eyes u r meeting with.
