Two Questions ??????

Does anyone know a better "Education Certificate Verification Firm " for H1-B  here in US in term of Money and service.

Is is necessary to verify Education Certificate if you are in US but apply h1-b on the basis of Nepali Undergrad ????

I dont think you need any verification. the most important thing is your resume. you need to have good work experience in there ( atleast a year). good luck.

If you have a degree outside of US and your job is based upon your foreign degree, you will need equivalency certificate.

yep.. my lawyer said that I needed it as my work was based on undergraduate degree from Nepal. however, that was for PERM not h1b.

But One of their requirement is ( IN red color below) :

• our application form (including the Privacy Statement, if you are authorizing someone to act on your behalf)
• official transcripts, mailed directly to us from the institution(s) that you attended.
• a certified English translation for each academic document (unless you are requesting us to translate the document, for which we will require an additional fee). Translations submitted with documents to be evaluated must be performed by foreign nationals certified as translators in the country of origin or by individuals certified as translators in the United States.
• pre-payment of our evaluation and/or translation fee(s); no sevices will be provided until fees paid by personal check are cleared by the bank

hmm.. I had true copy of transcripts in sealed envelope from my university, and it worked. So, I guess that part is kinda flexible... You may need to talk with their reps over the phone and may work the issues out..
