here are few tips based upon my past experience;

1. Dont take more than ONE LAPTOP, DIGITAL CAMERA or CAMCORDER.

2. When asked in TIA by police regarding any kind of electronic goods, MAKE INNOCENT FACE (Better pakhe face... as if you didn't understand what he/she is asking) and say CHAINA.

3. Even if they search and find later after your negative answer... tell that product was HANDED by your friend to GIVE his/her house. Better gift warp any electronic goods in HAND BAG. In laguage, they hardly ever check.

4. Dont be nervous while talking to TIA personnels, also dont show your attitude there. Just be sober and innocent. If possible look as much PAKHE you can ... Really that works. I brought 5 netbooks in my handbag... and was not even checked...

5. Finally, even if you are bringing something and have to pay tax. JUST BARGAIN with officials, afterall its NEPAL and everyone is seeking oppurtunity to make money over there.

Last but not the least, here is an amazing fact; a luggage boy(who stands in airline counter, who wieghs luggage) within a airport makes ard. 2000 USD/ day and he is just 8 Grade Pass.
