I feel that no one has done more for Nepalese all over the world than San Pradhan has.

Many of us have been using Sajha's free service for years. But how many of us have taken the time and energy to give back to sajha?

I feel that I want to do that. If you feel the way I do, please write your letter of appreciation to San Pradhan for all the hours you have been using sajha without paying a penny from your pocket. If you were to put an hourly rate to how much you would be willing to pay for sajha's service and how valuable it is to you, what kind of a price tag would you put on it?

Well, remember, that San Dai is not charging you that hourly rate. He is providing this service to us all for free.

Jai San Dai!

homey ji, some of your points in other threads made sense. but here seemingly you are HIGH.
correct me if I am wrong. 'Petition' is a heavy word. btw. doesn't make any sense here at all.. lol..
"petition to appreciate??" this is weird phrase ever read..
and no one has done more than san pradhan to Nepal rey
you are kidding I know.. cos there are so many other folks who are in the top list.
-sanduk ruit
-anuradha koirala
-mahabir pun etc..
are just few to name

homey ji, I know couple of guys who have worked behind the scenes for sajha. I'm talking back in 1996's era. I was in campion academy and couple of guys were just working on the site. San Pradhan, I don't know him but if I see him in person , may recognize him. It's a team effort, now he's claiming it's all his hardwork. May be it's his hard work as of today, or lately he took the ownership of the site and solely working on it.. but all the traffic, that this site is drawing is because of the work from the past done collectively.

technically, this site is making money, . . you don't need to worry about that. look at all those flashy banners and site advertisements out there, site is getting paid monthly most probably from those advertisers, just run a stat check, pretty good visitors site has got. look at those amazon associates ads out there. Per sale, you get 'daami' commission. and to handle this amount of visitors at a time, he must have a dedicated server under his belt , which could run cost from $200 to above per month. but it doesn't really matter even if he's making as low as $1500 a month just from the site. this is just an assumption, just saying.

so, forget about this favoritism, don't put other great nepalese in shadow.. sajha is good enough to bring few nepalese from around the world to this connected world called internet.
You need a proof?
Nepalese immigration office has released a statement last year that at least 15 lakhs nepalese are working all around the world. I don't know the real number now.
sajha has got registered members around 41,000 only.
Now imagining 3 karod nepalese using sajha from within the country and abroad, where does that number fall??
It's not even 1 percent.. it's like 0.00something pecent.

so, you can worship san pradhan, you can't urge ppl to do that.

just saying..
chill bro :D

Bittertruth your information is wrong.  I belive in giving credit where it's due and he deserves credit for making sajha.

@webjunkie, I wrote I was off by 2 years.. consider it typo dammit.
I was just opposing the original poster,
don't ahve anything with the sajha admin.
just to refresh you clouded eyes, down below is the excerpt of my say above, "
........It's a team effort, now he's claiming it's all his hardwork. May be it's his hard work as of today, or lately he took the ownership of the site and solely working on it.. but all the traffic, that this site is drawing is because of the work from the past done collectively..... "

bittertruth even if you were off by 2 years then it's 1998 but sajha was only registered in 2001 so i think you are thinking of some other site.

How can people start working on a site that wasn't even registered yet? Makes you look like an obnoxiously confused daft

@webjunkie, Iknow you haven't yet made a site for yourself.
Even a simplest project takes planning, execution and goal.  The planning was going on. I was second batch in Campion , and these folks were discussing about sajha. I'm so true to these words and only I know it. :D

Bittertruth so they were discussing about sajha in 1998 and they waited till 2001 to register it? You must be very naive because noone waits to register the domain for that long.
