Guys, please, lighten a bit. He doesn't intend any harm.

Two cases:
Case 1: OP posted something imaginary got we all got riled up, but he is sitting in the corner and enjoying the show. And some of us are rather empathetic.

Case 2: The story is real. Again, who knows that the woman was going through. Do we know for sure if the guys is just a Maharshi to his wife? If he did injustice to her, does he deserve some punishment or at least some lesson?

Like Bill Gates once said 'Life is unfair, get over it'. If we put a show, we must hear the critique...good, bad, or irrational.

(but it's the Case 1...so cheer up, brothers!)
