Hi there. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the Police Report from London, UK. A friend of mine was in London before for over a year and now he is back in Nepal. He got the DV Lottery for 2014 and has the interview date sometime in May 2014. As far as I know the US Embassy will ask for the Police Report from the country you lived for more than 6 months or a year. He already went to UK Embassy in Nepal and seems like it will take around 6 months to get it done. Also, I know people will make a new passport saying they lost the old one so that they don't have any record from old passport, but in this case he might not be able to get the new passport by the interview date. Looking forward to hear for valuable suggestions.

Go to Nearest UK Embassy or consulate with all the data (where you lived, when to when and why were you there) no need of proof. You may have to fill the form and may have to pay You will get police report within a month or so. If you are lucky you may get earlier. They may not call it police report they may call it ":Certificate of good conduct" This method work for almost every country.
