Hey friends do any one have similar situations if one is planning to go out of us to Nepal for 2 years with GC what is the process .I know we file reenty permit but will it be simple to file reentry permit by our self or you can have your lawyer to do it for you..do any one knows what paper that needs to be filed and how long it takes? If any one files for us how is decent amount we can pay..thanks for your replies in advance...

U don't need a lawyer to apply for the permit, you can apply on ur own. Go to uscis site and look for form i131 anf fill it in per instruction and sumbit with appropriate additional documents as listed. Filing fee is $360 and biometric fee is $85. Processing time is around 2-3 months.
