Hi,

I had applied for labor under EB3 and it got approved. Could someone explain to what would be the next process? I understand that I have to apply for I-140. Is that need to be applied first and then I need to apply for 1.485? I checked some website and I found the current 'priority date' as unknown for EB3 category.

Has someone applied for 1-140 in the past and still in the process? As I am totally new to this, any suggestion/comment would be helpful..

Regards

you can apply for I-140 now.. but have to wait for your priority date to be current to apply for I-485...

however if your priority date was current as of now then you could have applied for both I-140 and I-485 at the same time.
