I have a travel date arriving in 3 weeks to go back to Nepal. I have applied for a replacement but I am not getting any high hopes with them sending me a new one before I depart. Is it possible to depart to Nepal without a passport? I do have the citizenship certificate. My only stop over between Chicago and KTM will be in New Delhi Airport.

Call embassy and they will sent it express if you pay the fee. You will get in less then a week anywhere in US if you have emergency and willing to pay the fee.
