Yes, I do know I can sponsor. But my question is does it gonna help it for her to get visa or not. Well I am an F1-OPT working and I have sufficient money to support my sister. I heard from others that It will not help rather make it difficult to convince that she will return to Nepal. But In my opinion since I am working here legally and have flow of money and everything and Bank will be genuine like Capital One BOA etc etc. If I do sponsorship from Nepal, its like parents never put all the money in banks..people pay crazy interest and I have to deposit for short term and bla bla bla. So any help and 2 cents will be greatly appreciated. Also any good school for Nursing for like 10K per year. It may be any where. I want I20 to be less than 20K.

As per my experience, please do not sponsor from here. It's not going to work. Best bet is to show max balance frm Nepal. Sakalli dekhaaunu Sakdaina bhane nakkali banaaunu jaati huncha . Better than u sponsoring from here.

sorry bro..it wont work...and its true..it'll make more difficult... i've seen lots 'n lots of cases ..even cases where a us citizen 'n govt employee friend of mine tried to sponsor his lil brother's f1 'n got denied multiple times
more ties she shows in d us, the less chances she has....is the bottom line

I don't know about the F1 part of the deal, as I haven't come across such a scenario yet.
What I know for sure is, an F1 student, by law, cannot sponsor anyone for immigration purposes, such as sponsoring someone who just won a GC through the DV Lottery!

The less connection you showed to the U.S., the more it's better. I doubted whether it'll be a good step or not?

For nursing schools, try Liberty University or Minnesota State Uni - Mankato.

Like has already been said, the lesser the ties your sister has with the US, the higher her chances. Bear in mind, to get visas, two criterion that need to be fulfilled - 1. An applicant needs to prove that he can afford his education expesnses in the US. 2. An applicant will return back upon the completion of his studies.

As 'stupid' as it sounds, your sister might get denied for failing to fulfil the second criteria I mentioned.

Good luck!
