I am sure this thread must be floating around for a while. But I want to know that I am in OPT not H1B. I want to go to Nepal.
  1. Should I join my Masters first, terminate my OPT or
  2. Can I go to Nepal during my OPT


    Please help me guys

If you have a valid visa, I-20 and a letter from your employer you are good to go to Nepal on your OPT.
