Heard Table Tennis would be included in 2005 ANA in Dallas ? Is it ture ? If so then it's good news. I am just guessing, there are lots of people who would be interested in TT specially from DC, NE and Minisota. Must be lots of guys from Dallas too. It's a great sport. It brings back to our old good days practicipating in BAl Diwas championship. Good luck guys and gals ( if there is any ? ). It's nice to see gals also ... - Badal

The registration fee for MoMo eating competition has been decided $50 per individual and the winner will get 2 days 3 night and air fare for Las Vegas. There is no second prize, sorry!

Over the years it seemed like ANA never really appreciated the importance of Sports. Sports Committee had to generate their own revenue to cover the cost, even though a good portion of the participants were for Sports. What Texas is doing is a welcome sign. One thing that could generate a good revenue (channel it to Sports) is BINGO. Lok Dohori is a great idea, hope it is equally good economically.

Dear sports lovers, Please accept our Fall greetings from Dallas. Well !!! we, dallas community have been working very hard to make ANA 2005 a grand success. It's premature to tell you everything ..ONLY TIME WILL TELL YOU WHAT"S GONNA BE LIKE BEING A PART OF ANA 2005 PARTICIPANTS. We have been getting lots of positive responses in sports; especially in Table tennis. People from DC, NY, Boston, Nebraska, MN, CA, OHIO , Alabama have already promised us that they would be there . May be you guys can start particing Table tennis also to compete next year. We have been told that there are lots of Bal Diwas champions and National champions in other states too where as here in Dallas we have 20 participants already who can be a real threat to those former champions. Good luck to everyone. Lately we have been talking to USTTA ( United Stated Table Tennis Association), Texas board of directors to support our event. IF all being well, we will be using World class eqiupment with atleast 6 to 12 table tennis table ( Stiga and Butterfly). let's hope for the best... Apart from Table tennis following new sports have been suggested to be included; 1) Tennis 2) Track and Field 3) Swimming 4) Kaberdi 5) Volley Ball We know, we cannot do everything in just a three days span of time but we will try our best to provide you the service you desserve. Long Live ANA Sprts.... with regards, Gurung (:->)

AX, There are quite a few amatures. We don't play league level matches, but quite a few of us play with the Indian guys with softball (tennis type) every Sunday. Some of us in Ventura and others in Orange county. If you need more information let me know.
