Maybe, I have been ignorant of the present threads that are in Sajha, but I fail to see the same fun and enthusiasm in the postings. I remember posting non-stop in sajha, and now I do not find interest in doing so anymore. Was just wondering where all the members of sajha are?

People such as Ardent, InDisguise, dannanah, Ruina sis, matrixRose sis(i still see her at times), Nirman, HarkeDai.. and so on... (i know i have left out some names, sorry!). Not neccessarily saying that the postings in sajha are not good, it must be!:s just that the people I can really relate to are just gone with the wind.

Thinking about it, when the oldies..(the REAL old ones:D) would come and post in sajha complaining about the threads loosing their charm, I would be amazed! It was interesting and all... and now I understand their agony:D. The weird thing is though that it seems like all the people joined hands at the same time and decided to quit it! Come on people.. we miss you.. At least I do:(.

After a long time I returned to Sajha to find just the same condition you are calling attention to. I think one of the reasons is that the site has been sanitized to the point that it has lost much of its charm. It was forbidden to disagree strongly with any of the topics posted and I think people began to feel that their opinions ( postings) were no longer welcome or pertinent. You can regulate a thing just so far before it becomes useless and meaningless. There are sharpeners and there are levelers. The sharpeners keeps things lively and interesting. The levelers kill disention and sponteneity. Sajha has become full of levelers. I hope this trend can be reversed to put some more relevency back into this forum.

I think we've seen it all so nothings really exciting. Things will only catch up after another big event. What is it going to be?

One thing I have noticed that is bringing the interest in sajha down is that anyone who is a realist and is analyzing the situation without any biases or prejudices of Nepal is accused as a Royal support by a pack of hounds showing mob mentality. That only deters other people who think likewise to take an interest in posting. Making sajha a dull place with a pack of hounds running loose ready to bite and attack anyone who don't think like they do as royal supporter.

Rythm! it seems to me from ur statements that it is your bias towards certain individuals (so called 'recent' oldies) whose postings you prefer to read and comment (which is not unexpected though). But to me, it is the materials and its presentation that are not enthusiastic enough to compel readers like me. I think in recent time, Kurakani has become more a political forum than something a versatile place bringing everyone making it a true sajha. Some people have even started unsolicited publicity of themselves and Kurakani has become a tool to verbally attack and deride ideological opponent. I guess, visitors will not come to read and hear war of wards between some particular individuals!
