I'm getting "No more data to read from socket" error. It happens on only one DB server. Tried the same on other servers..takes time, but atleast returns data.

Previously, we had to reboot the server and it worked fine for sometime, but now even if we reboot it, no use.

Any idea?

Oh yeah, its Oracle.

Have u guys gotten the certification for DBA? I was wondering if I could get help in getting certification in it. Do u have any materials on that at all?. I have just trained myself on it and trying to get the job. Lemme know which approach  I should take

Sathi ho, it's good that we have this thread where we can post problems. But what happens, if the prb has to be solved urgently...u don't wanna wait till somebody replies to ur prob, right? let's share our emails...or maybe numbers...!!what i am trying do is to unite all Nepali SQL DBAs so that we can help other Nepalese in their day to day SQL DBA Job.

Another thing, there are some dhotz.. they do proxy calls and take a lot of Money from Sojha Sajha Nepali..? so, aba if we are skilled ..why don't we help them??

If any of you are getting interview calls for System Administrator..and you don't have enough experience to face the interview....i am ready to take calls on your behalf!!
