काठमाडौं, माघ १० (दैनिकी)– नेपाल सरकारले प्रतिबन्ध लगाएको भोलीपल्ट बलिउड फिल्म ´चाँदनी चोक टु चाइना´ का निर्माताले नेपाली दर्शकसँग माफी मागेका छन्। ´गौतम बुद्ध भारतमा जन्मिएका´ भन्ने गलत भनाइ फिल्ममा राखिएको विरोधमा नेपालमा विद्यार्थी र चलचित्रकर्मीले विरोध गरेपछि बुधबार सरकारले देशभर यो फिल्मको प्रदर्शनमा प्रतिबन्ध लगाएको थियो। विहिबार यो फिल्मका निर्माता रोहन सिप्पीले ´गल्ती´ ले फिल्ममा यस्तो संवाद पर्न गएको बताएका छन्। ´गलत तथ्य पेश गर्ने वा कसैको पनि भावनामा ठेस पुर्‍याउने हाम्रो उद्देश्य होइन, यो गल्तीका प्रति म माफी माग्दछु´ उनले भनेका छन्। बलिउड फिल्मसम्बन्धी वेबसाइट इन्डियाएफएमका अनुसार  ´हाम्रो गल्तीका कारण नेपालका दर्शकको भावनामा पर्न गएको आहतका लागि क्षमायाचना गर्दछु´ सिप्पीले भनेका छन्। सिप्पी र हलिउडको वार्नर व्रदर्शको लगानीमा बनेको यो फिल्म गएको शुक्रबारदेखि प्रदर्शनमा आएको थियो।

i am so sorry to hear that and how pathetic we are. That producer regrets for doing that and now we say we won! thats what i don't like. Do you guys know how much damage we are bearing our country and image of our beloved country nepal? if that is so i can tell anything against anybody and tell sorry later on. Look into china when they did something wrong in their product they re-called all the items and compensate for the damage  and here what we got? Did the producer recalled all the movies back from the theatre? These people need to recall all the movies and change the dialogue also so that there would be no controversy. Rest on the government of nepal. What we can do other that sayign something.!

for people like 'trilochana' etc, there is a video named 'THE GREATER NEPAL' you'll should watch. so u will get a clear idea about the boundaries of Nepal and how it was shrunked to its current size. Nepal was never a part of India and never will be.

not only indian producer but the WB should also realize the truth. 

we should look at the +ve side of this -

1. this will send a message to future wanna be historical hindi movie producers to think ten times or do some research before they decide.

2. this time, with the pressure they got from nepalese living in and outside along with the govt. we at least are able to put some sense into an indian producer.

3. this time we did not have to burn tyres and chant slogans for long as we did during Hritik Roshan's protest.

4. lastly, we have to stand for our history and heritage no matter what.

If Nikhil Advani is so smart as he thinks then he should add Budhha is nepali blood in the movie. Also, he should be able to show proof that Lumbini was once a part of India. This goes to all who says Lumbini was part of India. Show proof before u speak. F**cking copycats. CC2C is copied from Kungfu Panda.

On top, Nikhil should look at the current status of Lumbini and add that in that balsted movie which super flop anyway. 

Trilochana.....whole area was called India back then ????????? Can you tell me at what point of time did India lost their land and become Nepal. As said in mysansar.com , the problem and confusion have arrieved because of the term Indian Subcontinent rather than calling it as India. People directly relate Indian Subcontinent to be India. I request trilochana to go check some history.  ................If Nepal was India back then  ....the producer of this movie would not have asked for apology. Infact he went through the history and knew his mistake and apologize.

Arko kura, Buddha was born 2500 years ago in Sakya Dynasty. If you remember any Shakya friends those are the people who looks more like Chinese than Indian. When Buddha was born there was no INDIA and no Nepal.   .............So if that place now falls in Nepal then Nepal have every right to claim buddha was born here.

Let's make a movie name "Dilli Bazar chok to Delhi" and say in the movie that Mahatma Gandhi was born in Nepal. Hisab kitab barabar.

The more controversy the movie gets more people watch this movie including Nepalese, and that stupid producer makes more money.

I am glad no human beings were lost and no properties were damaged in Nepal by this stupid movie.

What are WE as Nepali ppl going to GAIN by argueing about this ? Is it going to make people's lives better in Nepal ?  OK HE APOLOGISED, FINE. CAN WE MOVE ON NOW ?  There are more pressing issues facing Nepal today than this. NEPLI BHEDAAAS NEED TO GET THIER PRIORITIES STRAIGHT THAN TO WASTE TIME ON THIS KIND OF NONSENSE.

I do support people voicing against the birth place of Buddha and won't call bheda. We should raise the voice against it before it is too late and whole world starts saying Nepal is India.

how do u introduce yourself? cause most don't know small country like Nepal. but they know Mt.Everest and Lord Buddha.

I always introduce myself with - I am from the land of Mt.Everest or birthplace of Lord Buddha. It is easier this way instead of explaining geographic locations and coordinates. as most people suck in geography and math.

so, LONG LIVE THE BIRTHPLACE OF LORD BUDDHA AND MT.EVEREST - NEPAL.
