Now you've finished advocating 'nationalism'(anti-indian sentiment) in Sajha while listening to Hindi music, why don't you guys go and make some curry with 'maharaja' spices that you bought from an Indian shop, catch up with some Bollywood movie (Salam Namaste or whatever is just out). And funny enough you seem to be able to make friends with only Indian or South Asians in your college or work. And Shiv, don't just dribble shit here. You need to do some reading on NC's history. What's this?? 'You should also read about what Nepali Congress had openly advocated in the past. You should read their manifesto when the party was first launched. FYI in that manifesto Nepal is recognized as integral part of India in which BP and other founding members were present along with prominent Indian leaders.''

Hey Kick, I am sure I have more Indian friends than you can ever have them even in your dreams ;-). Yes ofcourse I listen to Indian music, watch Indian movies but there is nothing wrong with that. I have many friends with different backgrounds but more Indians. Why I am telling you this; just because you accused me of being "anti-Indian." No! I am not anti-Indian by any means. However I am against Indian foreign policy towards its neighbors especially Nepal.. Find the first Manifesto of Nepali Congress when they were established, read it then your day-dreaming will end. If you are in Nepal I am sure you can find those historical documents among national archives or Nepali Congress main office must have those. If you are away from Nepal you should find out in your own expense? (some of these facts were published in TND as well..)

There are four issues in the above quote 1. Royal regime (there are more discussions about this in other threads) 2. Indian Aid (keep in mind like any other aid India has its own interest behind it is not just "good-will") 3. Globalization 4. Indian Imperialism (this is the one we are talking about here) The topic here is not about the first three. It is about Indian imperialism Check the two articles which will give you some insight on how India is playing its anti-Nepal role http://www.globalpolitician.com/articleshow.asp?ID=1110&cid=6&sid=80 http://www.globalpolitician.com/articleshow.asp?ID=1108&cid=6&sid=80 Don't you think "globalization" is different than dictating the internal/external affairs of another country?? Or I guess you will not mind Indian security umbrella over our heads??
