I was planning on going for a fall drive up to Mt. Washington or burlington, VT area this weekend. Is it the best weekend to come or should I wait for one more week for the colors to peak?
Any help would be appreciated!

Bostongirl, You might want to pospon your trip to NH this weekend because of the weather but it might change by tomorrow. You never know about New england weather!

I know..the weather today has been gloomy so far but the weather.com says there will be 'abundant' sunshine tomorrow...so I am counting on that. And you are all too familiar with the New England weather saying that goes 'if you dont like the weather, wait for 10 minutes' :-)

Here are some pictures of Vermont foliage. The best time to see this will be around the 2nd week of october..depends where you go. You will find a lil. difference if you move from North to South.

Wow....great pictures Nepalsathi! Did you take these pictures recently? If so, then now is the perfect time to go! I like it where there is still some green left.

Oh Crap...you almost fooled me Nepalsathi..hehe. I was planning on going to Mt. Washington in NH and their website says that the colors are well established. I am guessing as the elevation is higher in this area, maybe the colors are coming early. What the heck, if I dont see pretty colors up there, I can always go to Pittsfield in few weeks.
