You guys analyze (or do you ever analyze) the article as Abhi's article. No, that's not how look at it. I analyze as an article, I don't even care who Abhi is. see another example:

grand indifference syndrome... because.... 'hegemony without colonies'

The writer used because to connect hegemony with indifference synrome, and that makes no sense. That's shows his futile attempt to become HERO among nepali readers, simply because he thinks that readers have great respect for him, and the way youguys are ranting here, in a way proves that you guys give respects to him without weighing properly.

funkybudhha, what you are saying is Abhi is doing chakadi to USA.. Did you notice that? And yes, USA needs poeple like Abhi who will keep on doing chakadi od USA. Thank you.

You are absolutely wrong by responding to Gautam's posting **If Abhi sir is not eligible for visa, then who is eligible?** saying that ** Above thinking itself is wrong. Abhi doesn't have the rights that guarantees his visa approval. **

You would not have responded like this if you had properly read Prof. Abhi's article: Abhi has already admitted that it's not his right to get visa issued for him, but it's definitely his previledge to have one. That's why Moriartry was forced to regret on this visa denial case.

And, remember that the Prof was not crying over his visa denial, but was just wondering what's the reason behind denial: "Indifference", of course. This is bitter truth for many cases including Abhi (I have seen many craps getting issuance and many distinguished students and others the denial), which Moriatry was forced to defend saying it was "anything", not the "Indifference".

Good thing is that this case may force US vissa issuing authorities to think before saying "try again".

Poor Abhi is now RED face to get slapped by Moriarty's reply. That alone tells Abhi has learnt a lesson.

Karmarana i don't agree with you...its choice for me...i don't think its looser....he got the answer from morarity that he regrets for it...and its enough for him and..so why you need more explanation......

what makes you think professor subedi is slapped by morarity when he regrets for this incident..

Full scholarship and yet visa rejected 2 times.. can't believe. But good to hear that they themselves called and gave you the visa. If this true, did you ever wonder why the visa was rejected for the first two times? If it's a full scholarship, genuine scholarship, they shold not reject the visa at all , they should respect the scholarships. But, hey, mistakes happen. Each interviewer interviews almost 40 visa applicants a day. That's overwhelming.. and mistake can easily be made. So, if you want to stand out and be successful in grabbing the visa, you must present yourself is such a way that consular will pick you. This factor is always true. So I wonder how Abhi himself presented in front of the consular. Did he display cockiness thinking that he is a great intellectual of Nepal, we don't know. Did he had eye contact during the interview, we do not know. we do not know many things... we know he came back furious to lose the free trip, and wrote the article foolishly without understanding the pressures these consulars have to deal due to high volume of applicants. And under the influence of momentary anger, he threw irrelevant words like indifference, hegemony,church etc. in the writing. That's not a responsible writer's behaviour.

Yes, Moriarty said he regret.. but boys, somethings words mean something else!!! Believe me, he used the regret word QUITE Diplomatically.

So, you think US is "kind" enough for Nepalese by continuing its policy of issuing visas to some Nepalese as US authorities use to think (Abhi nicely portrayed this US mentality in his article)? Don't you think that some Nepalese like you might have got US visas because they deserved it, or US needed those persons like you? Natra pizza bechna hidne kalle ta, eh!!

you really speak out of hell without knowing the sentiments of thousands of people. He has not yet acknowledged the fact that it was simply the "indiffernece" that caused Abhi to speak out.
