It gives us a great pleasure to inform you that ihelpNepal.org proudly presents the first ever-musical concert of the band "Nepathya live" in Washington D.C on July the 9th of 2004 after performing live in Arizona for the "ANA Convention". This will be the only other concert event they will perform after the "ANA Convention" in Arizona. We sincerely realize your presence would be a great honor for the band, us as well as for the
entire Nepalese community living in the D.C metro area.

As you have come to know that ihelpNepal.org has been helping orphans and less fortunate children in Nepal. So, most of the proceeds goes to the helpless children.

We believe in

Only a damn fool would waste money on a Nepali event.

They never start on time, they're never well organized and the audience shows no respect to the artists or other fellow audience members.

I've coined a phrase: "Nepali Standard Time" or NST in short. Basically what it means is that everything starts an hour later. For example, if you show up to a meeting a little late, tell your boss you were "running on NST". He'll totally understand.

Buy a nice 12 pack of beer, go home, strip to your underwear and turn the tv on instead of watching this supposed "band".

Damn! why do they always organize every concert or programs on damn FRIDAYYYY
wish it was on saturday evening, i would have definely watch Nepathya. Organizers in DC dont understand that lots of people like me have to drive 3-4 hours to get to dc.there is no way i m gonna make it on time for friday . Why cant they let us know about the concert like a month ago. it sucks!! U GUYS SUCK!!! DC..whoever organize that damn concert..ya all suck!!


As far as Nepathya , i think they r the best band in nepal so far...they r consistent...katti aaye katti gaye, but nepathya r still on top. wish i could watch ...

Its ok to voice your opinion, but donýt fool yourself on the acronym (NST) that has been around long before you were in diapers. So donýt try to claim it to be yours. How many Nepali events have you organized, how many concert have you held to justify your criticism. Plagiarism is sin especially when you donýt give due credit. You can have mundane boring life but don't try to drag others to your kind of lifestyle.

I guess you must be one of those incompetent event organizers who never get things started on time. Did I strike a nerve there? Awww.

If its your job to organize an event well, do it you god damn numnut. Don't make the audience get there at 8 [ the time the show is supposed start], and then have it start at 9. This happens in all Nepali events.

Now go try to put on a good show.

Yes, you are quite special Mussolini, so special that I thought of the current state of bagmati khola in Kathmandu and yes, you did stroke a nerve, which inspired me to appreciate the endeavors of my Nepalese artists and their supporters. How soon Nepali Kancha forgets his home country and ltries to become like an American. I am seeing your good show right here why don't I come an join you with pack of Budlite.

For a person trying to make a point, your generalizations are very ironic.

First of all, I'll support an artist if I like him/her. I can name 100s of artists/groups/bands whom about 90% of the population haven't heard. These are all independent artists who don't have any money but make music for the sake of music. I support these artists, I buy their albums because they deserve it. I honestly don't think Nepathya deserves a dime from me. I supported Nabin K Bhattarai by going to his concert because the guy is talented as heck. So please, keep that preachy 'I support Nepalese artists hence I'm better than you' ideology to yourself.

Mussolini.....i have been readin ur posting....it didnt bother me much readin ur posting until now....how can u even compare a great band like Nepathya to Nabin k bhaterrai....nabin bhatterai is okay ..he got few good songs...but nepathya is way up in the list....dont even try to bring them together.... .... Nepathya really is a great band..u should hear them first in order to judge them......its ur personal choice but Nepathya is a heck of a band....i can put them with 1974 Ad !!!

And I've heard Nepathya, plenty of times.

And no, they're not even close to being as talented as Nabin.

If you didn't know, Nabin does most of his music himself. This included composing the music, producing it, guitars and the drums. Oh did I forget to mention his great voice?

Look, if you like Nepathya, its okay with me. But on a talent level, Nabin's got 'em beat by a mile.
