Jaba football world cup suru bhako thiyo, i was probably one of the first in sajha one who said italy were destined to win the world cup. Now i will say the same thing for westinidies.
I dont care if i am the only supporter of westinides in sajha because i know nobody could stop the windies.
If you love flamboyance, unorthodox cricket , if you like charisma this room is for you.

We westinidian supporter are the true supporters . We enjoy our cricket, we celebrate like there is no tomorrow, we play like there is no tomorrow. westinidies are born entertainers.
In the almost next to impossible case of pakis getting eliminated frmo the WC series, I wouldnt mind seeing WI take the cup for they do have quiet an impressive team, judging from what/how much they put up against the darn aussies last year in malaysia.
When italy won the football world cup last year their player were alleged of match fixing. Same is happening to westindies where westindian all rounder marlon samules have been alleged of talking to a bookie. Can there be a bigger inkling of westinidies winning the world cup.
My second favorite after Pakistan. i support WI in every game except when they are playing against pakis ...so yeah my all money is on them if pakis are to lose.
however, i don't believe they're gonna win!!!! :P not because they don't deserve it but still...how many teams have won the WC at home ground? --NONE!
West Indies are the most unpredictable team and the dark horse too. Its their own backyard, they may beat anyteam on their day but still they are unpredictable like Pakistan. They have some match winners who can be dangerous at their day. Lara may be looking to lift World Cup before retiring at home.

but dunno, i don't have full faith on WI yet. they are a talented bunch but too unpredictable just like Pakis. having said that, i would be more than happy if they win.
yeah srilanka was one of the host country. It is false to say that host country doesnot win though. I believe there is always a first time though.
And Westindies are the only team who have won agains australia more regularly than others. In last 11 matches austarlia have won 6 and westindies have won 5 of them. It isnt as lopsided as it is with other team.
