Could you please write to San requesting him to place this link to Unicode Nepali threads, particularly "Chautari", so that those who need it to post things in Unicode Nepali can do that ?

Aight... so if it is "hrashw" (ह्रश्व) [rashwa] :P use "i" or "ii" and for drigha, use "ee" raicha... :P

Thanks but San has been very supporting of this project from the beginning and has placed the link. We appreciate his support but don't have the money to buy a more prominent spot on Sajha :-p... Since we're making our software better every day, I'm sure he'll give thoughts into making that link more inviting :-)

San bro, btw, अब त हाम्रो software 'Simple' रहेन । It is a fairly sophisticated tool now, so we've removed the 'Simple' from its name. त्यसैले त्यो लिन्क बाट पनि 'Simple' हटाइ दिनु हुन्छ कि? अनि एसो bold सोल्ड पनि? :-p

Yes, i is raswa, ee is dirgha.

Guess what? We just released a new version and made it case-insensitive!... Particularly with you in mind... :-p

Yes, backslash can be important. We first had the pipe (|) character doing its job but some people seemed to have difficulty locating it on their keyboard...

Sorry about that. We have now placed a line at the bottom of the software page with keys to produce those characters. They should help.

Yes, we had to make that decision. The primary reason for way it is partitioned is that the readonly textarea that holds the Nepali text does not automatically scroll down to the end as more text is written. That's why we wanted to show as much Nepali text as we could on the screen so that the user didnt' have to manually scroll down every often. If you know of a workaround to this behavior, please share. Thanks.
