Close source said King is ready to step down. According to the report SPA are already in meeting to choose the new Prime Minister and Ministers. More news soon...

Congrulation to all SAJA's readers who post for restoring democracy again. I hope SPA's leader realized their mistakes and will work together to make better Nepal.

I heard some rumors from Nepal as well....from distant friends are relatives who are active in all the protests going on ! Something will happen by this week's end ! Hold your breathe.....but don't hold high hopes....the SPA ain't gonna do anything special.........Atleast, their long awaited hunger for the Kursi, Govt Cars, and other luxuries are becoming a reality ! Would be nice if they can bring Maoists to the table and stop the non-sense violence....

Stepping down from what ?

From the chair of the chairmanship or from the raj-gaddi of His majesty-ship ?

Any agreement by SPA for less than a republic or a political mechanism for it (referendum with YES or NO on monarchy, Constituent Assembly with power to remove monarchy), if really happened, will be transient. It will hardly survive a day.

The mass movement will continue. If SPA disapproved it, the Maoists will come in and lead it. Simple as that.

Any agreement that does not satisfy the andolankari and the Maoists will never materialize.

The movement has crossed a revolutionary threshold. Forget about compromise with monarchy. That kind of agreement will hardly survive a day.

It's not the stepping down but only a clear-cut, total and unconditional surrender by the King will end the movement, nothing else will.

Keep watching.

Purba 2 numbare sathi,
I dont believe.but what can you do. thats the way the nepali politics goes on. nothing is gonna happen different, unless these leaders die or kicked out of the poltical leadership.

thats why i emphasize the current movement should cross at least 3 successive stages to restore parmanent peace in the HImlayan kingdom

Step 1: Struggle within the parties against these existing greedy leaders with age old ideology.

step 2: fight with the Monarchy and root it out.

step 3: clear up the maoists, first of all, they are criminals, criminals and should be be excused.

So, any kind of dialogue with this killer Gyane leades to the Comprimise not the solution. and keep in mind such compromision will always be in favor of king and leaders themselves, nothing else.

I apologize for a TYPO. the step 3 of my recommended road map should be read as:
step 3: clear up the maoists, first of all, they are "criminals", and should not be excused at any cost.

Nepe I don't believe King'll be thrown out from Nepal. He'll be the King of Nepal even SPA rule the country. Only thing we can do is give him less power so that he can never take back people's power.
SPA are not that stupid to give moist power. SPA still believe King is better than moist. As you know Moist have no mercy. only 6 people died so far in this protest but do you noticed hundreds of SPA workers were killed by Moist.
Nobody even talks about that. Why?

oh lord, not the same old politicians again *bangs head*... Why does this Girija dude never die? Before 2046 B.S, he was like a skinny duckling that could die any moment, but since he became the prime-minister, this guy is looking healthier and well built than ever. I sincerely pray that Girija dies before the revolution comes to an end. As long as this dude is alive, he is not gonna let anybody come to power and with the help of few of his chamchas, he will continue to loot the nation and fool poor nepali jantas....This budho son of a biatch!

Nepe nobody knows the future but reality is SPA has no gut to throw King out.
I bet you on that!
They are just hungry of Kurchi as 'mampaka' maintion above. And we are supporting them because we think SPA are better than KIng and Moist.
This is a reality.

Purba 2 # jyu,

I do agree with you that SPA does not have gut.

However, I am not talking about SPA. I am talking about the ongoing mass movement which is decisively pro-republic.

And I am not talking about a distant future. Just a month or two. May be weeks.
