म एक काठमादौ बासी नेवार हु। सबभन्दा पहिला म नेपाली हुँ त्यसपछी मात्र म नेवार हुँ। मेरो घर काठमाडौंमा हो तर नेवा राज्यमा होइन। मलाई त्यो नेवा राज्य चहिदैन। म मेरो नेपाली दाजुभाईहरु सँग झगडा गर्न चाहन।

म पनि नेवार हुँ, नेवारी बोल्छु, नेवारीमा लेख्छु, काठमाडौमा बस्छु।नेवा: पहिचान सहित् को नेपाली हुँ | मलाई  नेवा: राज्य चाहिदैन । । मलाई मेरै नेपाल चाहिन्छ, टुक्राटुक्रा अस्तब्यस्त नयाँ नेपाल चाहिदैन।

I don't understand one thing. What was wrong with Zonal system? Bagmati, Gandaki, Narayani, Sagarmatha, Karnali, etc. 

The difference is that late king Mahendra divided country into 14 zones in such a way that no one caste remains majority in any zone in order to maintain social harmony and this time maobadi/khaobadi is dividing it on a basis of caste. Ode to late king Mahendra. He was such a foresighted king.

You're wrong my friend rationale, actually maoist started it. They used this agenda to recruit people from underprivileged caste. 

I totally agree with ritthe, Why Nepali newspapers are writing news in that way. I never noticed those during earlier years during when it was kingdom. Now day by day, every news title is more ethnicity oriented. Do you smell something??

even i am not newar... but from Ktm Nepal.. i have 90% of my frens who are newar.. i have great love respect for my frens and their family.. even if its ktm is a or was newa state. my love for them won't be less.. yes before anything else we are Nepali. a good Nepali indeed.. not even Newar frens to all my frens from all the caste i have highest degree of respect for you guys.. togather we stand.. divided we will fall.. anyways Say no to Maoist and drugs..... jai Nepal...

I am also from Newar family, speak Newari, love Newari culture, live in Kathmandu, but refused to accept that "Newa Ganarajye".  I am first Nepali !!!!!!!!!!! then else.

disintegrating the country is not a solution... if all jatis think bahuns are the culprits.. then c'mon.. all of you janjatis should start working hard and kick bahuns' asses to build the country.. this is a wake up call to you all janajatis... if you work hard, nothing is impossible... work hard, kick the asses of corrupt people.. but make a nepal a single country.

i am so happy that ateast we stand togather this timem in this particular issue where our beloved country is on the verge of divide and rule.. no we don't want to be divided.. we might have some small issuses with each other but look deep inside we don't care if it come to Nepal and Nepali people..the perfect example is the help done my GBNC to the late Surendra dangol and his family.. even GBNC's president is from Tamu family he didn't said oh he is newar non of my business.. he stood in front and with the help of many of nepal people here in Boston..we were able to bring his daughter and wife here and are fighting for their right..anyways guys.. guys no one will help you but a true nepal people when u are in need of help te most...anyways stay safe, and have a +ve thinking like this we can build a better nepal soon.. hats off to all these awaken progressive outspoken newar brothers who distinguish themselves as human first while
akin aware to their rich culture and norms. Yet there are some guys
like chanatarkari who whispers he is also against it but since we have
no choice according to some supposedly wise men(?) let the candle burn
near straws in the house and pray the wind will not blow. The wise
solution is  not to put the fire near them at all and you guys know how
to express it.
