 Are you misleading  the people who wants to take the ticket intentionally or you dont know how to book tickets online or whatever ....... I Already booked  a ticket. I am leaving DC on sept 11th Tuesday and coming back on sept 24th and total ticket price 2 way is 1137.97 .

                        Thanks for sharing. excellent posting. I am definitely going home. Just curious if they offered you hotel. I got transit of almost 14 hrs for outbound. returning back is just 6hrs. I called the costumer care to check. As I remember, QA offers hotel if your transit is more than 8 hours, but seems like they designed the fare system so tht they could by pass the rule.
I was not qualifed for hotel  due to the no 1 index below.

• There is no immediate or best connection scheduled.( connection exits for higher fare )
• The transit time in Doha is between 8 and 24 hours.
• The booking does not include flights to or from Abu Dhabi (AUH), Bahrain (BAH), Dubai (DXB), Kuwait (KWI), and Muscat (MCT)

Nevertheless, I am definitely going.

Just bought the ticket from QA 's website and got the promotional fare all the way to Kathmandu. 

Paid 3895 Norwegian kroners, which is roughly around 670 USD, round trip from Oslo. :-)))))) 

When I was home in February, I paid 1100 USD for the same route.

Yup.  I checked.  $1138 is a round trip price.  Says all inclusive.  Never seen such a cheap fare.  But there are conditions.  Probably won't work if you are going home for dashai-tihaar.

I share your pain I paid almost 1900$ 6 months ago .  In fact QA has huge sale once a year last year there was a deal even better. That time the deal was like this and 2nd ticket  was half price !!!!! That was the best airfare deal I have ever seen. Some of my friends grabbed that deal than. This  time I thought let me just post it here and let people enjoy the deal ...... :) 

If you use QA to go to Nepal at least once or 2 times a year it  is not a bad idea to be their privilege club member. you can  easily upgrade to business class using the points, which they give pretty generously !!

Too many restrictions and more importantly, doesn't work for Dashain-Tihar. Just checked, and it says 1970 from DC to Ktm roundtrip during Dashain-Tihar season. If you add the cost of domestic flight from other cities to DC, that'll bump up to 23-2400. Even if you get the 11xx.xx deal, you'll be paying ~1500 total if you are not in DC and will be missing Dashain/Tihar on top of that. So, it's basically not much of a deal, is it?

tickets are already overbooked for oct and nov dude, no way u can get into nepal in these months.

 All who booked the tickets, were you guys able to get the transit accomodation? No luck so far..
