Hi Frenz,
We (my wife and myself) had an interview at Kathmandu consulate today. After having several questions/answers, consular told us that the decision is on hold. When I asked the reason, She said that she is not able to see my petition online. She further said that she is not sure how long does it take but she hopes that it may take 1 week or so. I have the return ticket on 2nd Jan which I told her too and she just told me to transfer the ticket if possible to be in safe side.
Then She gave me a paper (pink color) which says: "Your visa is refused under 221(g)........" with additional information "PIMS association." The paper has mentioned to check the status online which I did and found below while checking online:

"
U.S. Department of State
NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
Administrative Processing
Application ID or Case Number: ...............
Case Creation Date: 23-Dec-2015
Status Updated Date: 28-Dec-2015

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days
"
Now, I am in trouble as I have the return ticket for 2nd Jan. Had anyone gone through same situation? If yes, how long does it take to resolve and give the decision? Based on that, I can cancel/transfer the ticket. Serious suggestions please.

Thanks

Guys,
I got permit from labor department. I went soltimode at about 1:00 PM and met broker (you will find such people when you turn towards Bafal from Soltimode). I paid 1800 to broker who did all paper work (according to him: insurance policy+documentation+service charge:1400+200+200 respectively). After that, went to baidesik rojgar bhavag (around 500 meter from soltemode chowk towards Bafal). I had to wait in queue for about 2 hrs and got the permit sticker on my passport.
That is the end of story.
