Nepalis come to US to make some more money but they cannot leave their politics behind. I have heard that in many US states they have different Nepali organizations run separately by Maoist and Congress supporters. I don't know how they are going to influence their party in Nepal.

Why not? I don't see anything wrong with being concerned about politics back home. If it leads to fight then that's bad but otherwise nothing's wrong with that. Just because you come to the US doesn't mean you don't listen to Nepali songs.

You can't really compare nepali politicians with singers. Those are 2 different industries. But what has been opinioned here is that people who are invovled here in the politics does make us "outsiders" who don't get invovled in politiics - to think - that - instead of working together in the same agenda - people are divided - "also" - in the name of politics - no matter what the size of the Nepalese population - in a particular location. Especially the bigger cities! We should definitely worry about politics back home but how can we, when we are all divided here. How can you compare Madhav Kumar Nepal or Girija or Prachanda or Politicians from other parties with singers like Narayan Gopal? Its not apple vs orange!

I am not comparing politicians to singers. I am talking about preferences. If you liked nepali folk songs in nepal you can still like it once you come to the US. Similarly if you liked congress or maoist politics in nepal, you can still like it once you come to the US. Its just a matter of preference. Just because you come to US does not mean you dont enjoy curry n momos with other nepalis. Same way some people enjoy nepali politics among othe like minded people.
