What is it about us that we take joy in other people's misery? I have never understood how people getting refugee status or DV affects anyone else other than the people receiving it. I think there is sometimes this feeling that some of us are more entitled to GC than Refugees and DV holders when in fact the two have barely any correlation. In the end we all do the best we can to pursue happiness and provide for our families.
