I agree with chris cornell on no 4 . ...Reese Witherspoon was sensational in Walk The Line .I am 200% sure she will win ...NOt sure about others but supporting actor title should go to Matt Dillon ..Crash ....if he doesnt win this time ..he will never .

Everybody is saying Brokeback Mountain will take the Best Picture, Reese Witherspoon will win the Best Actress and Paradise Now will get the Best Foreign Movie. Hmmm... my picks differ and are underdogs. Let's see.

For what it's worth, these are my picks: Best Movie: Good Night and Good Luck Best Actor: Phillip Seymour Hoffman Best Actress: Dame Judi Dench (She was magnificient in Mrs. Henderson Presents) Best Director: Ang Lee: Brokeback Mountain Supporting Actor: George Clooney Supporting Actress: Rachel Weisz Foreign Film: Paradise Now (although given the fact that the Academy recieved a long list of petitions asking them to cancel it's nomination, I doubt they'd get the award)

Aaaah!!! Again.... :D Best Picture: It would be great to see movies like "Crash" and "Good Night.." wins. Although it's almost certain that "Brokeback" will take the honor. Best Director: Ang Lee for "Brokeback" because it will be the first time someone closer to home wins. Best Actor: Philip Seymour Hoffman... I haven't watched the movie but I have seen the clips and watched a documentry on Capote and Hoffman looks convincing as Capote. No doubt about his performance. He was great in "Magnolia", "The talented Mr. Ripley", "Red Dragon", "25th Hour", "Almost Famous" and even "Along came Polly" and this is about time he took home the Oscar. Best Actress: Judi Dench? eh. Comeon, she already won, so did Charlize Theron. :P Would love to watch Keira Knightly win. Muhaaa. It's always a pleasure to watch beauty on the stage. :) Reese was amazing in "Walk the line". Okay, Felicity might have taken a bold step playing a transexual, but hey, singing folk and country songs on screen, that convincingly is not lesser bold. And with the smoothness she played the role is worth more than applause. :D Supporting Actor: eh!! If George Clooney is the the supporting actor in "Syriana", whos the main actor of the movie. :D I know, it has got none. It's seriously a competition between George and Matt. :D Like someone said, if Matt doesn't get it this time, he might never get one. ha... Supporting Actress: The Constant Gardener is the only movie I've watched in that Category, and Rachel was brilliant in that movie. A Mummy girl might get one. Catherine Keener, eh... she didn't win for "Being John Malkovich", she has slim chance to win for "Capote".. ah.. "40 years old virgin" on the way. :D Frances McDormand already won for "Fargo", she was brilliant in that movie. "Fargo" was an ultimate prize for her. Give her something better than that, coz I am sure she might not be any better than Fargo in the North Country. eh!! What about her Demi-God avatar in ÆonFlux. ehe.. Aru tyastai ho.. :D PUGYO malai.... going back to bed. :D

Seen none of the nominated ones. Crash now appears to top my list. For obvious reasons. How about foreign films?

Jon Stewart was awesome. He is the next big thing in comedy. I enjoy his Daily Show. The opening segments and the "campaign" video segments were hilarious. Glad to see Reese Witherspoon, Ang Lee and George Clooney take the honors.

Well, I got 8 out of 9, not bad, huh? I should've listened to Kalankisthan and changed my best actress pick to Reese Witherspoon. Oh well.
