Member of sajha or the webmaster/administrator is not serious about the movement in nepal. As so many people are injured and they need help. We can not help them going back to nepal but we can donate some money so that it will help them to get well. I took me three day to find a link to donate to the site. Please add a link at the top of your site for help. you don't loose anything, people are dying for our nation, wherever we are in "Yo man ta nepali Ho!!!!"" my request for you is to link these sites or create your own site so that a person link me can donate. http://www.trackabuzz.com/Alliance/ http://www.alliancenepal.org/Emergency%20Call.htm http://www.samudaya.org/articles/assistance.php Happy new year 2063 to everyone with a fresh nepali mutu. regards smilesharma

Bathroomcoffee is one person you either hate or like. You either enjoy or ignore his news posting, or you hate his blabbering with constant swearing. Either way, he is an active participant here who keeps some dull threads alive. Due to his postings flooded with swear words and of aggressive nature, I used to ignore them in the past but lately he's been making a lot of sense. I agree with him in questioning authorities collecting donations about the logistics involved. It is not that people in Nepal hold highest of moral or have sufficient money to not pocket any when opportunities arise. Ignoring the possibility that the donated sum of money might be misused and simply putting blind faith into it is simply stupid. It is sad but this kind of nature among nepalese is what the political parties used for their advantage or what King has been using. So act smart here and please get rid of this sheepish attitude. Or else we will never make progress, most importantly in the political scenario.

Oh my god.. i can't beleive people are so ignorant. How come helping people makes you taking a side or affiliating to Parties or Kings or Maoist ? People are dying so the help is needed. It may be the police, army, maoist, or common people.. it doesn't matter people. They are asking for help ...and helping to raise the money for anyone who is wounded is not a biased thing to do. So, u may like the movement or u may not like it... but helping doesnt make you taking a side of someone. You are helping a humun being, ideology comes after our realationship to each other as a humun being.

Ubiquitious Were you sleeping when the same thing was happening in the last ten years when peeople were dying in the hands of both the Maoists and the govt force. Why the deaths of these few street junkies made things remarkably different so that suddely from nowhere an urge sprouted inside your heart ? Dude it's just the death of few street junkies...things doesnt matter...when the deaths of 13 thousand people didnt why the hell should deaths of 5 or 7 street junkies should matter ?

Hey Hurray,, yeah u may like some of bathroomcoffees' statement but its not good to be in a pessimistic side all the time. I know, we all have been a victim of a ghusiya netas and chor Rajas..but that doesnt mean we start losing our hope. u've been hurt once or twice doesnt mean u start losing hope for the better future. Yeah .. there has been some misconduct with the donation money and may will be too.. but that doesnt mean we start losing hope and stop giving. Some money will definitely go to the needed. I am sure these people from Samudaya and Red Cross will definitely take that money to the right people. Its other thing to say I am not interested to contribute but it is unwise to tell other people not to give the money as Bathroomcoffee did.

I agree ... and keep Sajha and its admins and directors out of this conflict. If any governign memebers of sajha wants to voice, then they shoudl only do so as their personal opinion than as opinion of sajha.

I am not against helping people Ubiwan. Remember how the con artists set up web sites right after Hurricane Katerina ? I want to help those people, but I don't trust those people who are taking the initiative(like the republican movement). If they have the audacity to go form a separate discussion group just because they could not agree with a lotta sajha posters here(As his Mapainess Nepe said he wanted to open a discussion group of like minded people only) ? What guarentee is there that they would not do the same with our funds ? OR Only help people who fit their ideals and omit the rest ? These are legitimate concerns.

Mr. Khaobadi...Now when they are killed on the street they become junkies... 13000 people deaths matters as mush as these few people who died this week. So, just because they were not realated to you.. they become junkies eh...Each and every life is precious. People who died on the street should be respected as much as we respect anyone. ...everyone is Nepali daju bhai .. they can be jantas, army or maoist.. so please don;t disrespect someone because they died on the street.

to those who think they're brave to 'question' the authority about where the money's going, i say fu*ck you and fu*ck off. Leave the good people alone and let them do what they've to do. you assholes never want to donate to those people injured in this movement anyway, so shut the fu*ck up and get lost.

ubiqitious My only curious about what might have made that the deaths of these 5 or 7 guys in the last few days or so urged you to do something when the deaths of those thousands didnt matter much ?

UBIQUITOUS, not get me wrong here. I am not against giving for a good cause. I just want people to be aware and ask questions until they feel confident to donate.

Yeah bathroomcoffee .. being concerned is a good thing but telling people not to contribute is not. I agree with you about money being misused. But.. i am talking about the new hope... a hope that our country may become a better one in coming days. Atleast we have to give a chance... there is a risk... but the biggest risk you can take is not to take a risk.

I know khaobadi.. people should have done this a long time back when people started dying on this conflict. But.. now it has started.. and I think we should support it. yeah Hurray.. i know.. i've to ask a lot before i contribute too. But, i didnt like bathroomcoffee idea of telling people not to contribute. You won't be bad or doing something wrong by not contributing... its your money.. your choice and have 100% right to know where your money is going.

Smilesharma, Thanks for starting this thread. ya i also beleive sajha does not care about Nepal or Nepali people. I saw some post about it being not affiliated to any ideology (sujanks). I would like to tell him that The movement is not of any ideology now, it is the movement of the people. See the thousands of people coming out in streets during curfew. I recall sometime earlier there were quite a number of people trying to raise fund for sajha. This i beleive is more important time that that to donate (I still could not understand why sajha.com has to ask people to donate money in order to keep site alive)

This thread need to be on top of all the threads. People, don't do politics on the people's blood. If you can and do want to give, otherwise don't " bish baman" against who would like to contribute and help those helpless.
