News by BBC ---------- Despite the curfew, thousands of people were on Kathmandu's Ring Road on Sunday. However, reports from other districts say the mood is calm.
People are going about their daily business, even chatting with police officers patrolling
the streets.


News by Kantipur (Bhrantipur and propagandapur)------------ It has not written anything
about Sunday but it soon will write that millions of people protested on Sunday hroughout the country. After all, they have to mislead the people.

The reason protest is still going on at Ring Road is a no- brainer. Maoists have sent their
cadres and paid money to street children to do so and focused mainly on outskirts of
Kathmandu.

कर्फ्यु उलंघन गर्दै १० बैशाखमा राजधानीमा लाखौले लोकतन्त्रको पक्षमा प्रदर्शन गरिरहेका छन्। बहानैदेखि राजधानीको ठाउँ ठाउँमा सुरक्षा घेरा तोड्दै शहरतर्फ अघि बढ्ने कोशिस गरिरहेका छन्। गंगबु, कलंकी, चावहिल, कोटेश्वरबाट निस्किएको जुलुसमाथि सुरक्षाकर्मीको हस्तक्षेप भएको समाचार प्राप्त भइरहेको छ। भक्तपुरतर्फबाट आएको जुलुसलाई सुरक्षाकर्मीले कोटेश्वरमा रोक्दै प्रदर्शनकारीमाथि रबरको गोली प्रहार गरेका छन्। गोलीबाट तीनजना घाइते भएका छन्। यसैगरि किर्तीपुरबाट आएको जुलुस कलंकीमा मिसिएर रिङरोडभित्र पस्न खोज्दा प्रदर्शनकारी र सुरक्षाकर्मीबीच झडप भएको छ। यसैगरी ठमेल, इन्द्रचोक, घट्टेकुलोबाट निस्किएको जुलुस रत्नपार्क तर्फ बढ्न प्रयासरत छन्।

thank you especially to Pradhan Sir for giving the correct news. Even it is quiet now in
Kathmandu mainly because of the curfew. Maybe tomorrow will not be another day of
curfew because of less chance of protest now.

No protests have been reported anywhere else. Only near Kalanki, about few thousand.

Good to hear that. Lets hope that the situation will be peaceful now and some kind of concensus is reached among the parties and the King.

I am glad to hear that. This protest is useless now. The king was already given his power to the people. SPA cannot come up with a prime minister because "each" of them want power themselves.... thats why, since they cannot decide who to make the next prime minister, they have agreed on continuing the protest. Gadha haru.. do they realize how much thise protest have affected our country economy and peoples' daly life.... Republic of Nepal cahiyo re.... most people on the street if asked what republic is will not be able to answer what that means... Republic of Nepal is exactly what the maoists wants. and people are blindly chanting slogans for republic. Communisn auncha country ma ani taha huncha manche haru lai..........
