keep these things in mind. 1. Annual fee 2. APR (generally there are not APR for first 6/9/12 months) 3. credit limit

Try for citi mtvu card. It may give you upto $3500 credit limit. Never apply for bank of america credit card. It will never increase your credit limit. While applying, select the option that your are american citizen and specify your annual income like 50k. Get your card and swipe them.
