My company filed for my H1 on April 01, and I got my LIN number in a couple of weeks but I haven't received my H1 yet.

Do you guys know anyone who have received their approval, if so when was it filed??

This sucks, I have been waiting and I need to go to Nepal soon.

My reciept date is May 23rd, and i havent heard anything back. The processing time shows April 2nd, so i'm thinking its going to be a while.

are there any instances when its already October 1st and you still dont have your approval?

What we need is extra 1000 dollar, which my sponsor paid, and there are bunch of papers to be filled up---- sarhai jhyaau hudo rahechha hai..

Remember, I did not apply for visa in the US Embassy in Nepal.

Maybe all the applications with premium processing is screwing all of us up. That's why the Vermont site is still processing applications that were received on April 02, is because they have to "premium" process all the other ones..... this sucks.....

My company said they would do my premium processing also, but since we were filing on April 01, we thought it wasn't necessary. This situation is getting worse and worse. I feel bad for the students who are graduating 2-3 years from now. I am sure their H1 will fill up and they won't make it even if they file it with "premuim" on April 01. Maybe it will be called H1B lottery instead of H1B visa then.....

I don't get it, how can someone file it on April 25 get a confirmation and not someone who filed in April 02. Maybe they need to understand the meaning of the word chronological.... its times like these, I wonder how this country is successful.

Mine was not premium processing but I still received it in few moths time.

Oh but mine was transferred from Vermonth site to Texas. Don't know why.....But keep your chin up, you should receive it then...By the way, My lawyer was a Nepali Lawyer from New York and one of the best Lawyer for these type of case.

What happens with trasfer of cases to Texas is, all cases reach Vermont center intially and then few will be diverted to California and Texas service centers.

Even mine was filed on the 24th of May. It has been transferred to Texas from Vermont. My employer says that it might take at most 2 more months. I will be applying in Ktm Embassy after that. Hope things go well...

Same problem here. My visa petition was file at Vermont. Recieved on May 17th. Haven't heard from them. Last time I talked to laqyer he said he sent an inquiry and I should recieve it by first or second week of September. This whole situation is tensing me out. My grace period ends on second week of september. I have not joined any school or kaplan and I am not planning to go back to Nepal. I thought beuracrats in Nepal were bad but Vermont is worse.

even after it was transferred to TX, i think it is still going to take a long time, 2 more months. I thought the max it would take was 90 days but it is going to be 5 months.

Did you received your H1B approval?
I had notice receipt date of 21st April at Vermont Center. Later, they transferred it to Texas Center and it was approved on second week of July.

Do anyone know the minimum salary requirement in Dupage County, IL for Civil Engineers to get the H1B approval ?

Those lazy asses did finally update the uscis website on August 28, and now it says that they have completed processing through April 30th.

As I said earlier, mine was filed on April 05. but NO REPLY YET. I called them up and stayed on hold for 15-20 minutes and finally talk to some lady after punching 20 numbers listening to their automated menu. She opened a referral case for me and told me that the case would be sent to my processing center. She also asked me to follow up if I don't hear from them within a month. A MONTH!!!! Are you kidding me??

I asked my petitioner to call them up, hopefully I get some good news. I go to their site 5
times a day.

How about you guys, have you heard from them, after they moved the processing dates from April 02 to April 30th.
