Thought lies at the beginning. Whatever we see around us started with thoughts. Thought leads to action leads to manifestation. For instance, an engineer thinks of a design, turns it into drawings, and that is turned into a physical manifestation. Similar thing applies to Nepal. Unless people of Nepal think of changing Nepal seriously, it will not change into a miraculous prosperous haven like we imagine. Even taking a cursory look at the discussion threads in this chat shows that more interest is in entertainment related topics than development of Nepal. Does that not tell us why Nepal is like it is?

One important way could be learning lesson from US presidential election. Many ordinary Americans chipped in little through the Internet to support Obama, which helped him to make a strong case for his candidacy and actually win and then make history. We could be part of history and turn the fate of Nepal. One positive thought and a step to match it will go a long way to remodel Nepal to our liking.

Pretty good and pertinent ideas. Have you all pondered why even the best of ideas and examples that work elsewhere in the world fail in Nepal? Are we doing the same thing with "Loktantra"?

Law and Constitution must be ABOVE ALL NEPALESE.

All previous and current NATIONAL CRIMINALS and CORRUPTORS must be hang on public. Just to give good example for shake of the country.

Yes, that's so right. But once we got rid of the king, do you know what is happening? It is the ministers who are above the law now. There are ministers who are using illegal license plates in their vehicles, one of them being "Badal" the defense minister. Political parties are protecting "criminals". So what is the achievement of Loktantra?

At the moment, the Maoist are still thinking of another revolution that will establish a communist system under their leadership in Nepal. Prachanda talks about being willing to sacrifice his life in Baluwatar one day and then gives directive to Maoists to be prepared for another revolution. Frankly, they are only abusing the election and making a pretext of writing a new constitution. They are not really serious about peace or progress, only power. So it can only fall to the Nepalis individuals to think for Nepal.

1. We, Indigineous/Native People of Nepal should come and be United.

2. We should be more involved in Politics and Government role.

3. We should lead and NOT always be followers.

4. More to come......from here!

United we stand!

Then forking Indians and other Nepalis who are in cahoots with Indians and other

foreign elements will not be able to touch us or lay hand on our motherland.

Jai Nepal

Definitely, the native people should wake up and take charge of their own destiny. Once each group feels empowered and responsible for their own destiny, we can move forward... Good going...

we should have more native people in the government.  the native people should play more pivotal role in governing, affairs of Nepal and other issues currently daunting Nepal.

As i stated earlier that we always cannot be followers and be manupiltated by others.

The very first step is to free nepal from indian politics setup.
fight against them  awaring nepalese people to stop them from encroachment.
let's force our indian agent to resolve this issue as soon as possible. let's not sell ourself to those dhoti's.
let's not think we cannot do nothing.
We are the ONE who can make our nepal better place to leave.
let's unite.and fight against them.

I agree with you sulab.

but before we can do that i just want you and other nepalese to be aware of this

or

have any knowldge on it?

I heard that it is written on Prithivi Narayan Shah's book "Dibya Upadesh" about the Gurkhas. Its written in the book that the Gurungs, Magars, Rais and Limbus should be used as weapons BUT they should never be allowed to assume IMPORTANT Posts.

I heard that Dibya Upadesh is like a manual book for the ruling, feudal class. whatever they have learnt comes through this book.

therefore whether it is true or not i am looking forward to read this book and find out the fact.

Secondly in this book i heard that it tells about Girija coming to power, his cahoot with Indians.

And how Girija tells in the interview that Nepal and India is NOT two countries but should be treated as ONE.

the book i heard also mention selling part of Nepal's territory to India.

So does anyone knows about this?

I am looking forward to read the full article and find the answer.

Also can someone tell me what are the Madhesis demands are?

And is the Madhesis really a Nepali?

So if NOT why are they so much protest from them?

I heard that Madhesis and Tharus clashed in Nepal several times.

If i am not wrong, the Tharus are one of the /JanaJatisIndigenous people of Nepal. So why are

Tharus not getting help to protect Nepali's soverignity?

To crush Madhesis and other Indians elements who are supporting these movement, other

JanaJatis should stand behind Tharu.

Finally Why is Girija Not being Investigated by Nepali's officials?

SKH

The country should set 15-year-goal of becoming one developed country in the world:
1. Education overhaul-change the educational system of Nepal. Change the whole subjective syllabi into objective western-style practical oriented syllabi. Train the teachers/trainers so that they can teach/train our countrymen. Spend the most in education sector. Educated citizens are sure gonna save Nepal.
2. Health
3. Infrastructure.
4. Motivate young people in politics, new blood new thought, new path of development.
5. Cooperation with developed countries for training our Nepalese citizens in their countries or bring experts to our country to train our countrymen.

Bottomline, education is the key. Education will sure save Nepal!!

Special rights is needed for Nepalese Races people, but not federalism in Nepal.

Federalism is very dangerous for all Nepalese and future of Nepal.

Think and act positively from an individual level and the nation will find its own place. The talk of how will Nepal be made safe, from whom?, I find our own mentality and selfish atitude is the real danger.

Jaba samma everyone (majority) of Nepalese do not think, act and feel responsible for the nation, our mental fear will always loom. having said that conflicts over resources, rights and lefts will remain untill we all learn to live within our means and understand the collective survival interest.
