As dumb as it may sound - I have little or no time in renewing my passport which is going to expire very soon. Obviously i was negligent about the date. Even worse- it says i would need my original citizenship and birth certificate which i have to get  over  from Nepal. Any body has any idea or been through this and how to go about it? Thanks.

I sent my PP Renewal package last week. I emailed them earlier about the origiinal citizenship certificate. They asked for the originals. However, they said if we send the copies, they will take time for the verification of the copies through the administration in Nepal, so it will add up significant time for processing. Luckily, I had my originals with me, so I sent the originals. Hopefully, they will process soon.

Good Luck, siliconhills.
