This fundraising page is dedicated to our friend Nischeet Shrestha, who has been diagnosed with Menimgioma (A rare case of tumor that occurs within the membrane of the brain surrounding the central nervous system) that was 5 cm in diameter. Nischeet is currently at the Fredrick Memorial Hospital since 13th of Spetember and is in critical condition. He has undergone 3 major brain surgeries with more on the horizon, and is being kept at the ICU for constant monitoring. As of October 1st, the doctors have confirmed that the tumor is cancerous and at stage 3. People who know Nischeet will tell you that he is charming, outgoing, helpful and an individual full of life and love! He always loved and enjoyed the company of his friends and cherished being outdoors in the natural world. Nischeet came here with dreams of being successful, just like every other Nepali student and hoping to support his family back home one day. The eldest and only son from a single parent (his mother) , he was their hope for a better future that came to a crashing halt when he was diagnosed with this rare tumor.Nischeet is always in our thoughts and prayers, and we are doing what we can to help in this time of need. With the help of Social Media and Gofundme.com, we hope to raise whatever fund we can that will help him and his mother with expenses related to this unfortunate and unforeseeable situation.
