my wife just got her RN license from CA and we want to endorse it in NJ and we had some questions.Please share your valuable insights/suggestions.
1. we tried to register online but it seems we still need to send all documents by paper, so not sure what is the advantage of applying online. Also, the system is referring to some pages in the application packet but we can't find it on the website. Is it probably better to just stick with paper application?
2. it seems we have to submit a nursing verification form and since CA is not part of NURSYS it has to be sent directly from CA board. We don't see this form either in the NJ consumer affairs website. This is the exact wording they used in the instruction-
The verification must be forwarded directly to the New Jersey Board of Nursing from the applicable state board(s), if those state(s) are not listed on the NURSYS
License Verification Form.
3. can we go in-person in their Newark office and apply in person? Are they helpful?
We are very confused with this process. Please share you valuable inputs.
