I did not file for TPS in 2018 since it was getting terminated July 2019. Now that it is being continued until further notice, can I file for re-registration? USCIS says that i need to provide a letter explaining why i am filing late. Do anyone of you know any case like this or know any information about the process? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There has to be a valid reason for late or reapplying such as immigration, health, personal issues and so on. Hiring an immigration attorney automatically does not give you any immigration benefit. Why did not you re-register last time?
